IF we get to the final who would you rather play?

I say 'IF'.

For me Leipzig. Yes I know they are better than Rangers, and will likely beat them anyway, but a final against Rangers in Seville just doesn't sit right with me, and yes I know we shouldn't complain who we get in a final, ffs, but for me I'd rather play the German's.

In the knock out rounds I wanted Rangers, but our lot and all those Jocks in Seville, not sure I'd fancy that.

Thoughts?

Id rather play Rangers as long as we won. Losing to Rangers in the final would be massively anti climactic.

Well if it’s Rangers I hope Spanish plod will be on their toes? TBH I would rather have zee Germans, if we get all the pre match shenanigans, arrests pubs etc smashed up and a few in hospital or worse I think it will affect us more than the jocks, no particular reason for that just gut feel.

Gut also says Leipzig anyway and they will be odds on favourites for that game, Rangers have been punching above their weight all comp, luck is going to run out at some point? Also had the easiest draw in the QF with Braga and made hard work of it against 10 men for most of the game and who actually got a goal back to take it to ET.

Let’s get past Frankfurt first before worrying about the opposition in the final though.

By the way, what are the current requirements ref Covid nonsense, if any, for Brits entering Spain? And does anyone know if that would change if entering from a non EU country. I've had 3 jabs.

I've been to quite a few Rangers games, CL away to Ajax included.
I would definitely prefer Leipzeg

When I went to Spain a month or so ago as long as you were fully vaxxed it was easy.

I’ve book flights already for final after the Seville win. Dead cheap

Pretty sure no restrictions when travelling to Spain now, can travel if you’ve had no jabs

First off Frankfurt are no mugs, so they must be taken care of first and they will be better than Lyon. Rangers all day long as I want us to win this thing. Leipzig are a very good side and would give us more problems in a potential final.

The Spanish tourist office has announced Spain would allow unvaccinated travellers to enter from Wednesday 6 April, only to make a sharp U-turn.

It said the announcement was due to a misinterpretation of a government bulletin, and that traveller who are not fully vaccinated will continue to be barred from Spain.

Most of the 100/150 thousand(righto) fat skint cunts won’t make Dover.
I’ve never met a Rangers fan that is half alright and their love in with Chelsea says it all.
We’d tear the homeless looking cunts apart they’ve had an easy run by comparison.

Fraser - but would it be carnage, it would be one of the biggest days in both clubs history's in the sun in a beautiful city. Not convinced too many would be looking for a scrap?

Just had a look at the bookies.


Leipzig are favourites at 1.91, West Ham 2.7, Frankfurt surprisingly i thought are at 6 and Rangers outsiders at 8.

Looks like the Bookies have us to make the final, guessing the shorter odds for Leipzig is having Rangers in the Semi?

Too aware of hubris to speculate about the final. Let’s get the semi-final over with because EF will be well up for this and although Barca are not the team they were to beat them in their midden was no mean feat.

I really don’t want to think past Frankfurt seen as they just beat Barcelona, but should we beat them in the semis I want Rangers. Although losing to them would be really hard to stomach.

Anyone know what happens if we get to the final and play Leipzig and lose, seeeing as they look like qualifying for the CL in the German League anyway would we pick up the CL spot being runners up?

RBL are fourth in the Bundesliga and have won more than half their league games, the same points as us too but having played three fewer matches.

There is good reason to see them as favourites for this trophy.
